This course is designed to acquaint beginning students with some of the fundamental principles of international relations such as realism and idealism. Realism, for example is based on the assumption that the state constitutes the most important actor in the international system. This module as part of the course on the preschool learning experiences will explain each part of the standard and give examples of how to teach the standard within an integrated curriculum. The purpose of this course is to provide background in the ways in which psychologists evaluate data collected from research projects. A researcher may gather many pieces of data that describe a group of research subjects and there are common ways in which these pieces of information are presented. Secondly, statistical tests can help investigators draw inferences about the relationship of the research sample to the general population it is supposed to represent.
