"Global Climate Change through Geologic Time" is a remix with enhancements that fits within content I implement with my students called the "Global Change Modern and Paleo Considerations" module, for example. My adopted then adapted expanded item is an extension of earlier modular activities I designed to do with students including How Science Works from Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) and using the HHMI Earth Explorer interactive to consider data trends through time that my classes do earlier in a semester. There is also a series of embedded, supporting ADA Compliant streaming videos used and I also include engagement through the UCMP Understanding Science interactive platform.

This casebook, now in its second edition, is a collaboration of over 90 individuals with expertise and training in public health pharmacy. A total of 54 chapters are presented, covering a broad array of topics relevant to pharmacy applications of public health. These topics include, but are not limited to, cross-cultural care, health literacy and disparities, infectious disease, health promotion and disease prevention, medication safety, structural racism, advocacy/policy analysis, chronic disease, women’s health, rural health, travel medicine and more. The book is designed to allow educators/students to choose chapters of interest as they feel suited, as each chapter is independent from the others. Each chapter contains learning objectives and an introduction to the topic, followed by a case and questions. The chapter closes with commentary from the authors and patient-oriented considerations for the topic at hand.

Each focuses on a topic from a specific chapter in the OpenStax US History textbook beginning with chapter 17. As such, all topics and themes are designed for the second half of the US History survey course.Each prompt is designed to center on a specific topic from each chapter and then connect it to the context of a theme or idea in modern or contemporary times.In this way history is taught so students can understand that it is relevant to their own lives, rather than merely a series of events surviving in their own insulated past.
