Digital Learning Summit 2022

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) hosted the inaugural Digital Learning Summit on July 12th and 13th, 2022  

About

On July 12th and 13th, 2022 over 300 participants from across the state attended this free virtual event. The Summit featured engaging sessions on foundational and advanced practices in digital learning and open education, innovative digital pedagogy, and emerging research. Attendees learned about state-level programs and services designed to advance digital learning initiatives at institutions. THECB grantees showcased their open educational resources created and adapted for courses in a variety of content areas. Participants collaborated and networked with practitioners from institutions of higher education across Texas to share successes and lessons learned. Presentations during the Summit were organized into two learning tracks:

Track 1: Learner-Centered Design: Innovative Content and Pedagogy

Track 2: Creating Meaningful and Memorable Learning Experiences Through OER

This Digital Learning Summit Hub serves as a space to continue and grow the practitioner collaboration and networking initiated during the Summit.
