Description
- Overview:
- Review processes — whether they involve faculty peers, topic-specific experts, or students — can be essential aspects to course materials development. They offer different perspectives, validate or invalidate assumptions, and nearly always lead to improvements. Reviews also convey a level of confidence for others seeking to adopt OER and other materials for their courses. In this session, we will discuss several strategies, best practices, and potential pitfalls of review instrument creation, deployment, and processing. We will also focus on ways to give and receive strong feedback, and options for recruiting reviewers and sharing reviews.
