This course concentrates on the activities performed by a data analyst and the tools and techniques that are used. The course will use the textbook Data Analytics Using Microsoft® Excel®: With Accounting and Finance Datasets. Excel® is an essential skill for data analysts. Weeks 1 – 4 will primarily cover beginner and intermediate Excel topics. In Weeks 4 – 6, you’ll continue to build your Excel skills, but additionally you’ll work on an analytical project for a fictitious company where you can apply your Excel skills to develop and communicate a data story.
