The second edition has been revised to incorporate clearer, more current, and more dynamic explanations, while maintaining the same organization as the first edition. Substantial improvements have been made in the figures, illustrations, and example exercises that support the text narrative. Experimentium is a collection of General Chemistry lab experiments and associated prompts developed by Drs. Eszter Trufan and Elene Bouhoutsos-Brown. Most of the experiments can be performed both in the laboratory and at home, if a student kit is provided. The cost of the kits is estimated at under $50 with most items being reusable.
