About me

I have a diverse and multidisciplinary research background (including Geology, Geophysics, Remote Sensing, Psychology, Education, Business, Art, and Computer Science).
Currently, cooperating with Atec, EE, CS, Sci-Ed, and Geoscience teams, I work on educational psychological research, dynamic system modeling theories, human-computer interaction, data analysis, and new techs to solve the science communicatoin problem. Meanwhile, Working on a Geoscience Ed Video design framework for geoscientists and educators to use for creating their own videos.

Prof. Robert J Stern and I started UTD Geoscience Studio (UTD GSS) in 2016. For the past 5 years, we created 200+ geoscience-research-based educational videos, gave over 30 talks and workshops, got funds from NSF, AAPG, GSA, and AGU. We are still growing and trying to provide more free good geoscience visual materials and assessment solutions for the public and professionals.
