About me
As the co-chair of Texas State University's Managing Textbook Costs Committee, I am involved in oversight of our institutional strategy around OER and other affordable learning materials efforts including grant writing, awareness campaigns, faculty professional development, and instructional design services. We also conduct and analyze annual faculty and student surveys at our institution regarding adoption of affordable learning materials. My primary role is to provide leadership to the Office of Distance and Extended Learning which includes the university's core instructional design team and assists in a variety of teaching technologies.
