About me
I am a PhD student at Texas A&M University focusing on research in string theory and quantum gravity. My involvement with the different facets of university education, from student, tutor, graduate teaching assistant, lead teaching assistant, and introductory lecturer, has afforded me a unique perspective both as a learner and educator.
My goal as an educator is to enable students from diverse backgrounds to become independent learners and to cultivate a desire to learn more. I believe Physics and Mathematics courses have a unique advantage of being grounded in the real world meaning everyone has experience with some aspect of them to one degree or another. They can also challenge students to become general problem solvers which is a useful skill for everyone to have.
