About me

I am the Associate Director for Course design of the instructional design team at SHSU Online serving parts of SHSU and our digital learning shared services consortium of Lamar Institute of Technology (LIT), Sul Ross State University (SRSU), Larmar State College Port Arthur (LSCPA) and Lamar State College Orange (LSCO). I started working at SHSU Online in 2011. Before that, I spent 15 years with the schools in the state prison system (the Windham School District) as an analyst and database applications developer. I have a Bachelor of Computer Science from Texas A&M and completed the secondary teacher education preparation coursework while I was there, then completed a Masters of Instructional Systems Design and Technology from Sam Houston State University, so I am familiar with instructional delivery techniques and how to apply those using technological means.
