About me

Emily Chavez serves Houston Community College as an Instructional Designer with the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence. She earned an M.S. degree in Global eLearning from Texas A&M University, Commerce and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Texas Tech University. Emily has been an Instructional Designer since 2015. Prior to that, she was a K-2 teacher for 14 years.
