Open Nursing Education Summit, February 27-28, 2024 – Registration is Open

Registration is now open for the Open Nursing Education (ONE) Summit scheduled for February 27-28, 2024. The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s (THECB) Division of Digital Learning and OpenStax at Rice University have worked with nursing educators across Texas and the nation to create eight peer-reviewed, freely available nursing textbooks, aligned with the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) Essentials Curriculum. The event will provide a first look at the textbooks which will be digitally released during the virtual Summit.

Join your colleagues to celebrate this collaborative achievement and explore innovative ways to adopt and adapt the openly licensed materials to meet the needs of your institution. This event will feature industry experts and nursing education leaders, instructors, and administrators who will discuss critical issues in nursing education and how to address them through the power of open education.
