Digital Design for Student Success (D2S2) Group

This group's purpose is to serve as an information hub for the D2S2 Project, a collaboration between Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB), Rice University, Texas A & M University, and The University of Texas. Institutional partners will develop, deploy, and scale high-quality, introductory courses with digital materials, which will include course redesign, instructional material development, and creation of related course resources.

Posting materials

Hello,

1. Are there restrictions on what kinds of licenses we may use in posted content? (For example, I wish to use CC-BY-NC on mine).

2. If we post to this group using OpenAuthor, it's find-able by everybody, right?

Hi Amanda,

Apologies for the delay in answering your questions!

1. The final materials should be available for others to adopt and adapt (so allowing for derivatives is necessary). Your institution may have other guidelines.

2. Published materials will be viewable by all OERTX users. But you can leave materials in draft mode in Open Author without publishing.
