When the Texas legislature passed a Voter ID bill in 2011, a contentious partisan debate was ignited: Would the law protect the ballot box, or would some Texans be denied access to their voting rights? This video looks at the history of disenfranchisement in Texas and investigates the battle between the state and the federal government over enforcement of the Texas Voter ID law.
